Foundation construction steps of water-based terrace

1. Base treatment

Clean the ground, remove the cement pimples and loose shelling; clean the dust and particles in the construction joints, cut the irregular cracks into V-shaped joints, and level them with epoxy mortar. Make the foundation flat and solid, and then use a professional dust-free grinder to polish and vacuum;

2. Apply epoxy sealing primer

Objective: to penetrate concrete base, ensure the combination with concrete, and improve the adhesion of concrete base.

Construction requirements: thin and even without omission

Construction method: after the ground is polished and cleaned, directly brush the undercoat on the ground. Before construction, calculate the amount of materials to be used and evenly coat. Pay attention to the balance between the construction progress and the materials to be used when batching. Do not open too much materials at one time to ensure that the materials still meet the available time when painting. Brush them before gelatinization to keep good permeability and bonding performance. The purpose of bottom coating is to close the base surface and enhance the adhesion. Generally, it should be cured for more than 12h. After confirming the curing, the next process can be carried out.

3. Construction of middle coat mortar layer (the thickness and flatness of mortar layer can be increased)

Objective: to improve the smoothness and wear resistance of epoxy floor.

Construction method: mix the Guanglei intermediate coating material according to the correct proportion, then slowly add quartz sand, mix evenly, first make up the low concave defects on the base surface; then use a scraper to evenly coat the epoxy intermediate coating material on the ground, and then polish and dust after it is fully cured. After cleaning, the next process can be carried out.

4. Apply epoxy putty layer

After mixing the Guanglei intermediate coating material or surface coating material according to the correct proportion, slowly add quartz powder or talcum powder, and use epoxy putty (fine powder, thinner, better leveling) to level the base surface with leveling method. The purpose is to adjust the flatness and fineness of the base surface. After confirming the curing, the next process can be carried out.

5. Roll coating

Objective: to improve the impermeability and wear resistance of epoxy floor, and to obtain a bright color surface.

Construction method: after curing, the epoxy putty shall be polished, polished, cleaned and vacuumed. After mixing the surface coating materials in the correct proportion, the scraper shall be used to scrape and paint once first. After curing, the defects shall be repaired and then the roller shall be used to roll paint for the second time to cover the roller traces left during the first roll coating of epoxy paint and make the color paint more uniform.

Environmental requirements for coating construction: the construction base surface shall be kept clean, and there shall be no cross operation of other engineering construction.

6, conservation

After finishing the surface coating, the relevant construction materials and tools shall be removed from the site, and the finish shall be tightly sealed and protected. At least 24 hours later, people are allowed to walk. It is not allowed to bring in sediment. Generally, it takes 7 days for the paint film to fully solidify. During this period, other engineering construction, transportation, installation and other construction shall be avoided.
