而这些“溶剂”，国标并无相关规定。如果跑道使用了劣质塑胶颗粒，为了铺平整，就会添加苯作为稀释剂，含苯添加剂会造成皮肤瘙痒、头晕等症状。部分企业在施工中为了追求速度，让跑道迅速“干”起来以便使用，还会添加铅盐促进跑道凝固定型，这对环境、人体都有毒害。

为什么会出现这样的问题？一方面当然与某些不良厂商有关，对此要进行严厉打击，但另一方面客观上也有压价的问题。记者对一些厂商进行调查后也发现，因为成本问题，偷工减料成为一些厂商的惯常那个做法。广州的唐老板曾经营一家弹性材料生产公司多年，他透露，20年前生产一平方米塑胶跑道能卖150元以上，如今人工成本飞涨，但塑胶跑道的采购单价反而降到每平米90元到120元。因此，一些不良厂家靠偷工减料来压缩成本，问题跑道“应运而生”。唐老板还坦言，质量要得到保证的话比较困难，因为价格实在太低。
